Urban Rookery by Juliet Duckworth will be part of #somersetartsweek starting 24 September until 9 October. Unit 2 Orchard Shopping Centre Taunton TA1 3TP.

Exhibiting and interacting with the public as @social.scaffold.artists. These huge rooks nests were salvaged when trees were felled.

‘Presenting them on scaffold poles and away from their natural setting suggests displacement and man’s complex interference with nature. Here the natural environment has been changed. As Tim Ingold says ‘ the environment does not exist in and of itself, it exists only in relation to the being whose environment it is’
